WordPress website building terms

Website domain name
The domain name is the primary address or name of the website (e.g., something.com). It's a unique identifier that distinguishes individual websites. No two domain names worldwide are the same, ensuring that all websites can be found unequivocally. Any text without accents or special characters can be chosen as a name. The more descriptive it is, the more it refers to the company, product, person or service the website is about, the easier it will appear in search lists. Of course, this requires much more than that. There is an annual fee for owning a domain name. We assist with registration and management, so you don't have to worry about it.

WordPress plugins
Even the WordPress and AVADA themes together can't do everything. Technical SEO features, Google Analytics, WEB store framework, appointment booking, etc., may also be needed, depending on the client's needs. These can be addressed with additional software modules, known as plugins. There are free packages, paid ones, and even those that require an annual payment. The purchase, registration, installation, and integration of these are also our responsibilities; our customers have no involvement in these matters.

The milestones of the website design process

Website copywriting
Composing the textual content based on selected keywords is one of the most essential and labour-intensive stages in website development. It's challenging, but it's worth it to write content that is interesting to readers and is rewarded by the Google Search Engine. The copy is one of the most important SEO props. If you keep this in mind, you'll be halfway there in the race to Google's first page, even without paid campaigns! To write Google-friendly content, one must map out the most searched-for words and phrases related to the topic before writing the first sentence and then build the text around those terms. It's no use to write brilliant lines that don't contain the correct proportion of references to the terms that people expect to find, because Google won't even notice them. It's almost impossible to search-optimise poorly written text without rewriting it. Therefore, copywriting and/or cooperation in it is an essential part of our website development service. We may not accept the assignment if the client provides text that does not meet Google standards, but insists on it. We aim to have the prospective website at the top of Google's listings even without paid campaigns.

SEO - Search engine optimisation
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the practice of improving a website's ranking on Google, ideally placing it on the first page. The process continuously shapes the site, utilising well-written texts, technical elements, speed optimisation, social media links, backlinks from other websites, and more. Among these, the carefully written and structured textual content is paramount, as it is what Google Search Engine interpret above all else. That's bad news for clients who want to be on Google's first page but start with no SEO-ready text content while expecting premium SEO for free. Many opt for the easier but more costly approach: they attempt to replace time-consuming work with paid advertising. This may work in the short term, but in the long run, it may not produce the results that can be achieved with well-written content, a well-designed, and fast-loading website. Not to mention that the sponsored method will cost much more in the long run than a properly built website.
SEO is not always effective or produces results quickly. Sometimes, it takes several tries to see a visible increase in traffic. This article explains the reasons for this.
Optimising the speed of your website
There is no SEO without a fast-loading website. It's not advisable to play with viewers' patience, and Google knows it. That's why its search engine favours websites whose pages load quickly. It's a race for tenths of milliseconds, and every little bit counts. If done right, this phase is not a separate task but is present in every step of the website creation process. The layout of pages, the sizing of images, the way software modules and content are loaded, the tuning of WordPress parameters and even the choice of hosting provider should all be included. The technical SEO task of integrating WordPress sites with SEO software plugins should not be left out. All these, of course, are a part of our website development service.
